REVIEW OF T3 AUSSIE VERSION BLU RAY

Last night I purchased new release aussie version on Terminator 3.

my verdict-

pic 7 out of 10
sound 8.5 out of 10

for a movie 6 years old it still looks ok

I noticed the US version is only in dolby digital 5.1

Im happy to say the Aus version is in dolby tru-hd

thats the main reason I purchased it.

the disc is region free from Aus so I highly recommend picking it up.

We get T2 skynet here next week, Ive heard mixed reviews for this.

is it worth the buy.

The only feature missing from this release is a commentary track that was exclusive to the US BD and HD versions. But I'd take the Lossless audio
over that.

I think its the same transfer as the re-release of the 1080p US version.

Not true the US Warner release uses VC-1, and the Australian Sony release uses AVC

It's the same as the U.S version ... 1080p

your correct..there's 2 versions or Terminator 3 blu-ray U.S edition.

1) Terminator 3 Blu-Ray
Release Date: Oct 30, 2007
UPC: 085391186304

This release had a 1080i encoding error.


2) Terminator 3 Blu-Ray
Release Date: Mar 04, 2008
UPC: 883929016938

This release has the proper 1080p encode

....i have both .
