Double Helix Games
Cavia

I'm not at all confident about the quality of either. Do Front Mission fans want a shooter?

That what I was thinking is strange, I played Front Mission for being able to customize my mechs, and for the turn based combat strategy...not to run around as a big mech on my own....

I'm hoping this strategy is what leads Wada to getting canned. Square Enix is (was) renowned for RPGs. Now they are getting enticed by MS and "western" development and are looking like they are going to churn out some craptastic RTS's and a 3rd person shooter. Hmmm I wonder which demographic they are catering to.

They are completely ignoring their home base to try and grab a piece of the Western (read MS) pie. However, it is at their own peril as 85% of their sales occur in Japan and moving from RPG's to Shooters seems like a retarded move as they don't have the pedigree for that genre.

They don't seem to have learned the lesson that Toshiba did with HD-DVD and their partnership with MS. Ah well.... some lessons need to be learned the hard way.

Heavenly Sword looked a generation better years ago.

This needs to be 60fps and heavy with particle effects, like Armored Core to justify the lack of detail.

Yeah, well, Square-Enix announced the Last Remnant for PS3 as well.

Until they actually release a game for PS3, I refuse to believe *anything* they claim as far as releases go.
