Default No/little bass...

I have my pc hooked upto my Pioneer 5.1 reciever via the dvd 5.1 inputs. My pc's motherboard has a build in audio driver-Reltek hd 7.1. I have it setup to 5.1 and everything works good. When I test it (click on the sub) there is bass-not as much as when I listen to the radio but there is bass. When I play music or movies there is no or very little bass!! Does anyone know why? If I bypass my reciever and connect my cable from my pc to my sub there its the full power. But even then there is no bass through music or anything. It doesn't matter what software I'm using either. I go on YouTube and listen to Boom Boom Pow(Lots of bass) and there is no bass, watch movies through wmp, gom etc and same problem.

In the Realtek audio options, can you add 10+ db to the LFE channel?
