Default How does FF-7 look/play on PSP??

I was just curious if anyone on here has tried it on their PSP and what do you think of it?

It plays great, and I'd say it looks better on PSP than on PS3 because you can't see huge pixellation.

I have had a couple issues walking down a specific path because the path is hard to see on a screen so small, but otherwise no problems.

You can, but be warned the lag between the PSP and PS3 will make some mini games way harder than they should be. This is why I jumped at the chance to buy FF7 from the PSN, to eliminate that lag.

Cool, might have to try that. The lag that was mentioned might be a bummer but I'll try it anyway. Also have to try MGS and Alien Trilogy

for the ps3 you have to create a ps1 memory card under save utilities...

Edit: 4 hours into the game....you might want to try to smooth out the edges under the game options...its wayyyyy easier on the eyes specially with a tv my size...i just found out this yesterday....

OMG I honestly don't know how this isn't super hyped for PSP. This might be the best news I have heard in along time. Another question. Can you access an external HD through the PSP and watch movies that way?

Yes... you can play all PS1 games on the PSP in this manner. However, keep in mind that wherever you are with your PSP, you still need to have access to an internet connection in order for the PSP to connect to your PS3. You can't just be riding the bus and have a magical link-up to your PS3.

This I do understand but at my work we have a t3 or t5 connection and I'll have comcast at home very soon. So I should be fine at lunch playing some FF7 or many of the other rare PS1 games I have woot woot.

Does the PSN version look any different from the PS1 version when played on the PS3?

Though keep in mind that some work's firewalls block access to the PSN network.

Because if it were super-hyped than Sony loses more money out of it's PS3 games and then maybe PSP games as well since people would just be playing their PS1 games.

But if they didn't want this then why would they have given it to us? I mean there are obvious advantages to buying the games but for someone with a library of PS1 games like myself half the games I did like on the PS1 wouldn't show face on PSN probably ever. I think the connectivity part is great just by itself. And I saw a video of someone playing LAIR haha on the Remote play but you can't complete a level.

Not on the PS3. The PS1 disc looks just like the PSN version.
