Default Pixar Double Dipping....

I have decided to start double dipping on my Pixar films, since they look so amazing on BD. I so far have Cars and A Bugs Life, Monsters Inc. is already pre-ordered. So to get on track, I would have to re-buy Ratatouille and Wall E. I was thinking:

1. What are the chances of those two titles being on sale for the Up BD Release?
2. Should i get them know, or is there a chance of a possible re-release?
3. Do they both have slipcovers?

PLEASE HELP ME

1. They may be on sale when Up comes out, they might not. There is no way to know.
2. Get them now, I doubt Disney will do a new version of these films anytime soon.
3. My Ratatouille has a slip cover and Wall-E does not.

IMO, you're not double dipping if you're buying a movie on a different format.

Yes, they both have slipcovers (if you can find them with them on in store)

It's Disney, so there's a fairly high chance of them being reissued.

As for the concern of upgrading, Disney anything always sells high, so find a local flea market, craig's list, or ebay and list your DVDs to get rid of them.

Given that there is a difference in quality (which 99% of the time there is).

I would just go with the 2 disc Wall E (unless you need the digital copy)...and don't forget the Pixar Short Films Collection Vol. 1....

2 disc Wall-e does NOT have a slipcover. Never did.

3 disc MAY have one. When it was released all 3 disc sets that I saw had them, but I've noticed slipcovers missing on that particle movie than the usual rate of movies losing their slipcovers.

Buying online won't guarantee you get the slipcover as they are now selling both Wall-E 3disc and Rat without them. Best bet is to look around the usual retail chains or maybe some others that you don't think would sell-out as often.

Personally I would just skip the three disk set of Wall E the only difference between that and the two disk is the fact that you get a digital copy...yay. just my .02 and I would say if any films are worthy of a re-purchase it would be the pixar films.

The other difference is you get a Slipcover lol. Only reason why I got the 3disk set. I'm a slipcover nut. It's hit or miss with the slips. They usually only print them during the first run. Maybe get Wall*e and if it doesn't come with a slip, post in the trading forum that your looking. A lot of members despise slip covers. So they sell them for $3 or so.

As far as Ratatouille, it came out over a year ago...not sure if the slip is still available. Haven't really looked. You may get lucky.

Weird. Hmmm. I own every Pixar Blu available, and everyone came with a slipcover. Odd. All Amazon purchases.
