Default TV Shows on Blu as well as DVD in your collection?

I was wondering how you guys keep your TV shows on DVD and Blu-Ray in your collections? Meaning a show that has certain seasons only on DVD, but not on blu yet. So a show like Smallville that only starts on Blu after season 5, would you keep seasons 6-8 on blu with your other blus and still keep 1-5 among your DVD collection, or would you keep all of the seasons 1-8 together with your DVD's or with your blus?

I was considering picking up South Park Season 12 on BD but the price wasn't exactly a selling point. WHEN I do buy it, likely later this year, it will be on bluray despite the first 10 seasons that I own (not 11) being on DVD.

So far the only TV series I have on both is Lost (S3 Blu, 1&2 SD._ They're not kept together. When it comes to SD & my Blus I do not cross pollinate

+1 for LOST
+1 for not letting your BD and DVD mingle

We have our BDs and DVDs separate, as we have been busy selling our DVD as the BDs get announced. We did just find a box with almost 200 DVD in it we thought we had lost in a move 2 years ago, so we have that many more to sell off. the ony titles we have in both BD and DVD anymore is Smallville, but we keep them separate too.

I have Friends and The King of Queens. Both entire collections on DVD. For me to buy these again after having them on DVD, would take an extremely high jump in picture quality. Otherwise it wouldn't be worth it. The early seasons of Friends especially, look pretty grainy and out of focus so we will see.

As far as movies, not all I have on DVD will be bought on BD only the elite stuff. Amadeus and The Shawshank Redemption? Day one buys for me. Braveheart and Gladiator? Already reserved. The Pixar collection? Sign me up! The lesser stuff will stay on DVD.

And yes we keep them seperate. I have a shelf exclusively for BD's.

I have one rack for my collection. The Blu-rays go first, then the DVDs, they aren't mixed together. I've actually gotten rid of most of my DVDs so there aren't many shows I've got on DVD then Blu. I sold my Lost season 1 & 2 DVDs when the Blu was released. I have Supernatural season 1 & 2 on DVD and future seasons on Blu but I've never watched the show and once I watch the DVDs I'll sell them off.

I ran out of shelf space for all my SDVDs months ago. As of now my Blu Ray shelf is holding Blus, Ps3 games, Various DVDs I have bought recently and a couple of packages like from My hellboy 2 limited edition that I just cannot bring myself to toss. However it is all seperated mainly. Blus, ps3 games, and then everything else.

There's media segragation going on at my house. My BDs don't like to play with my DVDs. They think they're better than the DVDs (how snobbish - even though they are better).

My blu-rays decided to gather in a separate place away from my DVDs. It's so troublesome that I had to try and find good homes from some of my older DVDs. In this day and age, I still can't seem to get my discs to "get along" with each other. Go figure!

My bd seasons 6 & 7 of Smallville treat the rest of the seasons on DVDs like a red-headed step child. Oh! the horror!!!

I keep my blu's separate from my dvd's. The case height difference bothers me. As far as TV shows I have the Seinfeld complete box set, a few seasons of South Park, and the first season of Robot Chicken all on dvd. On Blu, the only TV set I have is Planet Earth. To me somethings just aren't worth purchasing on Blu unless the increased clarity really makes it that much more enjoyable.
