CNET: Top 25 "Must Have" Blu-ray Discs!

I think I have like 20 out of the 25 listed. And for the record, I don't necessarily agree with all of their picks, and I suspect mnay of you won't either.

Dont agree either. I see a couple "must haves", a few "would be nice to have", and a few "meh". Heck, no one will ever totally agree with lists like these.

I agree with a few of those although it's a shame they left off The godfather collection and the classic bonds, but i don't think restoration was a category in making the list.

That said i would have added Incredible Hulk to the list, i always put on the Hulk vs. Abomination fight of the college campus hulk out to show off my system

Actually have a five of these on this list, which kind of surprised me because I only have about 20 blu's right now. No Country For Old Men will be the next one I plan on picking up which I see is on the list, can't wait to see what all the fuss is about.

Ronins a great movie and has great sound but PQ is a bit soft, maybe that should go from the list

I've got 12 of them, myself... I don't know why Ronin is on there. The blurb on the website only talks about the car chase - nothing about the blu-ray quality. And last time I checked Casablanca was ridiculously over-priced, so that won't be added to my collection any time soon...

own all these. cant believe they didnt list Sin City and Band Of Brothers....easily two of the prettiest looking Blu's out there.

That's a terrible list in my opinion. Not to mention the little blurbs on the side, the one that really stood out to me was the Blade Runner blurb. All they really say is it's an upgrade over a poor dvd, instead of saying the film looks like it was shot yesterday. There are numerous discs they've left off there that are more deserving, but I suppose to each their own.

I only have seven of these myself. I didn't like some of the movies they have on the list, though, such as Die Hard 4 or Tropic Thunder.

The most absurd blurb is the one for Youth Without Youth that says, "We should have put Godfather I and II on this list..."

Uh...no kidding! Then why didn't you??
