this is an internet forum, not a sons of liberty meeting from 1775. don't take it so hard, my god.

reading through the post you put back in, I'm assuming that you are taking umbridge with someone deleting your suggestion to make a poll. We've had a rash of pointless polls on here lately, and that one would be as well. Polls certainly have their place, but some people think its fun to know "what type of shaver you use", "or what's your favorite speaker" . To someone who is trying to make an informed decision (as the topic is in that thread), that type of poll is pointless..

don't be so defensive. you're comment was edited. You weren't thrown in jail or sent to Syberia for your thoughts... leave the hyperbole at the door.

I see nothing that was edited. Your post appears to be intact. If it were edited, it would say so at the bottom. Be that as it may, why not just PM the mods rather than start a thread that puts yourself in a very unflattering light?

I am aware they are different systems, and different prices. Just because I didn't list of the differences and similarities doesn't mean I'm not aware of them. So far on this thread crackin and Beta are 2 that have given good advice. Why not see where others stand, for fun. Do you post comments just for the sake of trying to make others annoyed? I know there are a million and 1 choices for speakers and AVRs, polls are just for fun and mean nothing. Anyway, the OP has to listen to some stuff and make his own choice.

I am done. I have had enough with you guys. There are a few people I've met in this forum that I can talk with, and I will PM them. You know who you are and I thank you for the advice over the last 6 months.

edit: July 4th, Why was my message edited and my comment on mods removed? Big Brother did you remove my comment and replace it with .... ? Not cool, all I said was some mods can suck the fun out of threads. Is this an American site? or is it controlled by communist China? Happy 4th of July! Go ahead and delete this if you want, but changing what people write and read is something out of 1984. Are any of the mods in the Mininstry of Truth?

Some people just tend to get irked by polls (I find some amusing, some good for getting a feel for what the majority here thinks, and others simply good for nothing!)

Arbitrary moderating is just something you have to learn to live with here. It happens. It's all funny to ridicule someone over it until it happens to you. The problem is that it usually takes somebody who is already upset about something, and then really spins them into a dither when they find that they are not allowed to express themselves, even when they are following the rules and a person they are arguing with is not. It is not helpful. Mods are human too, and not all of them are exemplary. Too bad, but there's really nothing that can be done about it.

as for the members who tick you off, instead of leaving the site, perhaps you could use the 'Ignore List' that way you don't have to read their posts. Might make things a bit more tolerable.
