Hi,
I just bought a townhouse and it appears fully wired for speakers/intercom. I thought there would be a control panel or some main starting point but if there is I can't find it. I have "plates" on the walls all over the house hiding the speaker wire that is in the walls. Downstairs in the spot where the tv should go there is a doubleplate with what I assume is speaker wire, then to the back of the room in the ceiling are 2 plates where the rear speakers would hang from. My questions are how exactly I should start. I was thinking of taking the doubleplate off, and connecting say red/black to left rear and blue/gray to right rear...then take off the plates on the ceiling and connect the rear speakers. Also, if I did that, how would I keep the speakers attached. Thanks for any help/feedback. Let me know if you need some more info |
