I most certainly would. This is one of my favorite movies of all time, and with the slew of amazing catalogue titles being released the last year, there is NO reason why this one should not be.

Does anyone know who owns the rights to this movie?

By the way, this is 1984 starring John Hurt, based on the novel by George Orwell.

Ahh, man. Is it pathetic that I've yet to watch 1984? I've been meaning to but was either too busy or I kept forgetting. I've only read the book and is one of my fave. I'm big on dystopia and utopia plots. XD

But yerrh, I wouldn't mind seeing it on blu if it does happen.

I have the DVD of 1984, which is now out of print. It's not Hurt's best film, but it's certainly well made.

My DVD from Ne Zeland says MGM on it. Does that mean they have to be the ones to release it on BR?
