TV SHOW: New Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Did anyone ever see it? There's a US DVD by Tai Seng that cut the opening and closing credits to make it like a 5 hr long movie. Apparently it came out right after the movie. I saw it and there's major and I mean MAJOR CHANGES:

[Show spoiler]Chow Yun-Fat and Michelle Yeoh's characters are the same age as Zhang Ziyi and the desert bandit.

The Villain on the TV was old man who Li Mu Bai was going to give the Jade Destiny too. In the show he is not an old man and he can open a can whoop ass on you.

Jade Fox is still there and is still a minor character.

No WIRE FU!

There's a lot of supernatural bulls*** going on and especially towards the end it gets out of hand.

The Major Spoiler of All: The Ending!

[Show spoiler]In the end when Sir Te get killed, Michelle Yeoh's character dies and Li Mu Bai is alone and Zhang Ziyi and the Desert Bandit go off together and it ends. Major f'in' downer because the movie sure as s*** didn't end that way.

Yeah, it's crazy. Tai Seng marketed this as a sequel when it's an HK Drama. If this really was a movie, it would be the worst sequel ever made. The production quality is junk on it; full screen and possibly shot on a home video camera judging by the feel of it. I was wondering if anyone else has seen it?

I started to watch it and made it about one or two minutes before yanking it out of my dvd player and taking it back.

It's unbearable to watch. The "look" of it is essentially like a soap opera.

Just terrible.
