Wizardry PS3: New Exclusive to be shown at the TGS - Blu-ray Forum

Acquire just opened a new website dedicated to a new PS3 exclusive (most probably a RPG):
Wizardy - The Dungeon of Captured Souls

Acquire is known for their Tenchu and Way of the Samurai series, wherehas the last Wizardry released in the US was Tale of the Forsaken Land released in 2001 on the PS2, localized at the time by Atlus.

At the moment not much is being shown on the new official website, but it has the merit to be clear: Playstation 3 - Wizardry: The Dungeon of Captured Souls

Woah.

Wizardry was one of my first PC-based RPG experiences back in the 80's (along with Ultima and The Bard's Tale).

Fingers crossed that this is good.

I dunno, SirTech went broke trying to release the last Wizardry... I really don't expect or anticipate much from the franchise anymore, makes it easier to be pleasantly surprised though.

The first part of the Wizardry Renisaince (sp??) Wizardry: Wedge of Life is coming out for the DS in Japan in a few days. Hopefully the PS3 part comes out soon and somebody in the US picks it up.
