Default CSI: Miami - Good in HD?

As a UK resident, unfortunately CSI: Miami isnt shown on the few HD channels we actually have. I'm just wondering if anyone who watches it from over there in the grand US in HD can tell me if the broadcast shows superb HD quality? Along with Smallville, I'd like to get this on Blu-ray disc and am just wondering if it actually looks any good in high defintion?

With its production values, I imagine it must do!

Also, does anybody know if season 1 was filmed with HD in mind? I know season 2+ is HD (along with Vegas season 4+)

Cheers

Yes it does look wonderful, TNT does a good job of showing epsiodes in HD along with the X-Files. I'm not sure if the first season was shot with HD in mind. I'd love to see it on Blu Ray as well, along with Vegas.

CSI: Miami is great in HD! I used to watch a show that came on just before it on Monday nights and I was sucked into CSI: Miami because of the stunning HD visuals.

Ooooo this sounds veeeeeery good news! I've got the US DVDs (im one of those who believes a show should be seen in the region they were made) and they are already quite amazing, and you can tell that in HD they would probably be blisteringly clear!

So you all agree this is the case? CSI: Miami would be superb on Blu-ray?

haha Horatio in high defintion... im intrigued!

I do think that season 5 was pretty apalling unfortunately, which is such a shame as i loved the first 4 seasons! For some reason, season 5 became a really bad parody of itself!

I'm hoping s6 will refresh the characters and writers. There's promise from what i hear about a new Horatio Caine story... Something that will make him seem more human (instead of this superhero type figure)
