Default Rob Zombie Directs CSI: Miami Episode

Quote:
As we reported last week, Rob Zombie is currently helming an episode of CSI: Miami which is currently shooting here in Los Angeles and is scheduled to air on March 1st.

Zombie checked in via his MySpace blog and posted the teaser image below which reveals Malcolm McDowell, Paul Blackthorne, William Forsythe and Michael Madsen as guest stars. (Rumor has it Halloween co-star Kristina Klebe also pops up briefly in the episode.)

This marks Zombie's first crack at directing television. Tune in March 1st to see the results!

Shit, I most certainly had forgotten. This will be my first Miami episode I've seen in 5 years. I am gonna be haunted by Caruso's sideways turn and sunglasses move for weeks. Hopefully the dialogue is better tonight..........

so i just happened to catch this episode with my dad last night, and i was wondering why the murder victim at the begnning was more bloody than usual for a show like this, then "director: rob zombie" comes up on the screen, and i said "oooohhhhhhhh"

also loved seeing michael madsen in action, that was awesome! everytime he came on screen, i had a flashback to him in reservoir dogs, maybe it was the suits he was wearing

and david caruso knows his character is a complete joke right? i had forgot how awful that show was, but the reason its still around is the unintentional comic relief

The cast was fantastic for tv, Michael Madsen, Malcolm McDowell, William Forsythe, Sheri Moon Zombie, Mini Anden (From Chuck) but yes Caruso was an even bigger joke than I remembered. I like how at all times when a group of people are facing each other he stands sideways, and it's not like how a cop stands to keep his gun away from perps, he just stands sideways so when he removes his sunglasses he looks cooler, lol. That show was a great laugh, but the casting was really good. I didn't see Zombie's style at all in the directing, cause I guess CSI's have one specific style and you must run with it, but the victim was a lot bloodier than usual lol.

yep, i definitely noticed the extra blood, but youre right, they probably had to put the leash on zmbie since this is on network TV, but yeah, caruso cracks me up everytime he is on screen, they things his character says, the way he delivers his lines, and i also love all the tracking shots where the camera ends up on him with the hollywood sign in the background or something similar, they have to be shooting this in a super cheesy way on purpose, there is no other explanation for how bad it is

How many times do you think they showed the L.A. Conservatory. I know that every movie in L.A. must contain ATLEAST one shot of the building, but Zombie went for gold on this episode. I think he they showed it over 6 times in a 5 minute period, lol.

Yeah observatory, lol, wrong word completely. Two movies come to mind that had main focal points there, the knife fight from Rebel Without a Cause, and the Redbull scene from Yes Man.
