Default 4 ohm speakers vs. 8 ohm receiver
I have recently got an Onkyo TX-SR607 and I have some 4 ohm speakers that I want to hook up to it. I'm looking for advice from the audio experts out there. I know I'll be fine at low volumes but I don't want to damage the receiver. I read something somewhere about "ohm resistors." What are these? Where do I get them? What ones would I need? How do they work? Etc.
