Super Sports Package, Rogers Digital Cable

Hello Folks,

I am currently a Rogers Digital Customer with Hd Receiver. I was just looking into the Super Sports Package Rogers offers. It looks like a great deal, I was just wondering if anyone else out there already has this and if you think it is worth while for the 29.99 a month

Looking to add it in oct for football and hockey.

does NHLCI and NFLST come thru in HD?

Most games do have an HD feed. I get the package every hockey season , you never miss a game. Nfl sunday ticket is worth it alone.

Yes, it is worth it.
I would say about 50-75% of NFL games are available in HD... Still kinda sucks that not all of them are available in HD

for channel 419 and would like to know if this is going to be available
in HD. You also indicated that you would like to know if the NFL Sunday
Ticket games are available in HD and if so how many are in HD.

We thank you for contacting us about your NFL services and additional
NFL services. We are confident that we will be able to clarify this to
your satisfaction.

The regular NFL channel is not HD and we do not have an estimated time
as to when this will be available in HD or if it will be. If the program
becomes available in HD, it will be announced through Rogers.com or
marketing information.

As for the NFL Sunday Ticket, some of the games are available in HD.
Currently the NFL is only scheduling up to 3 NFLST games in HD for
Rogers, when more details become available and more games are available
in HD, we will offer the games in HD.

From past experience...

Usually they just pick games that are available on another HD channel (from the pool of Fox and CBS HD feeds that Rogers carries) and put them on the NFL Sunday Ticket HD channels. Typically there may be 1 game that you can get on there but couldn't get if you have all the timeshifting channels in your cable package.

It's a shame since all games are now produced in HD and in the US you can get a Sunday Ticket package which has them all in HD.

It still is a good deal though in the 29.99 package.

yes, u def. need to take into account the HD games shown on TSN, RSN, GLB, CTV, FOX, CBS, ABC and all their available time-shift channels. Then the super sports pack adds an additional 2-3 games, but unfortunetly, sometimes these overlap with the time-shift channels.
