I have the reciever in the title, and had a PS3 hooked to it with an optical cable. This receiver has Hdmi in/out, but I belive it only supports 1080i. On a different thread someone said that it would pass the 1080p signal, so I went out and bought another hdmi cable. When I hooked up the PS3 with all hdmi, I went to the display settings and clicked automatic. It said maximum resolution 1080p, but after I save it displays 1080i. The audio did switch to PCM though. I am wondering if anyone knows if their is a solution to this or I I should go back to using the optical cable?
Are their any kind of adapters that you can hook to the back of the PS3 to be able to have two hdmi cables coming out, one to the TV, and the other to he receiver? This receiver cost me $1150, ![]() |
