Default Pioneer Elite VSX-92TXH Receiver Thread

Pioneer Elite VSX-92TXH

pioneer 92.jpg

I've had my Pioneer Elite 92 since early December. Overall, I love it. However I seem to have a problem losing the HDMI signal at certain times, and I'm hoping somebody has a solution.

I'm using a PS3, Motorola HD cable box, and a ceiling mounted Epson Powerlite Home 1080P with Better Cables HDMI 1.3 cables for all connections. I seem to lose the signal (sometimes just the video to the projector, sometimes audio too) when I switch BR discs, or when I switch from an HD channel to a SDTV channel. Sometimes switching inputs on the receiver and then going back helps, sometimes I have to power down the receiver, sometimes I have to power down everything.

This is especially troublesome when I want to demo my new theater for people by playing a few scenes from various BR discs. Almost every disc change results in the above issues. I've never had this happen while watching a movie or TV, only when switching as noted above.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to prevent/solve this? Thanks.
