"See No Evil" problem-no menu

After the Blu Ray get to where you should see the menu, there is no menu! Where is the menu or how do you start the movie. This is the first time I have ever seen a dvd without a menu. We exchanged it twice already.

That is very strange. All Lionsgate titles have a zillion trailers, but they have a menu. What happens when you press the menu button in your control?

Maybe it's a firmware issue. What is your Blu-Ray player's brand and so on?

Its the Samsung 3600 and its up todate.

pop up menu would make sense if the movie was autoplay but from the sounds of it the movie does'nt play with out hitting start and the menu screen won't load to begin with.

this movie has no pop up menu. I called Samsung and they said it sounds like a fireware problem and that updates are released 2-4 months after a movie is released if a problem exits. They said that it was the problem with BD has its a new frontier...

I've got the identical problem with two titles: "Bankok Dangerous" and "The Punisher: War Zone". Samsung Blu-Ray player model BD-P1600. The firmware is up to date and the disks appear to be in good condition, although the Punisher title halted and skipped in the previews such that I had to manually skip thru them to get to where the menu should have been. Once there, I see the background playing but no menu selections appear. No button on the remote has any effect. I'm going to return these discs to Netflix and get DVD versions, but this is an aggravating problem.

Just in passing, I'll note that I had a problem with an earlier title, "Iron Man", which wouldn't play at all, it would apparently load then do nothing. That turned out to be caused by some extra content that the disc wanted to download, and was solved by plugging in a USB flash drive to the P1600 so that the download had some memory to write to. I have to say I'm not too happy with this player's little quirks. I've only had it a couple of weeks and it seems like I'm spending a good deal of time trying to troubleshoot its problems.
