I can't believe this movie costs as much as something like The Dark Knight or Iron Man. My buy price point would be $9.99.

I don't remember The Dark Knight and Iron Man being $13.99 when they were first released....

I paid almost 20 dollars for the dvd. I would pay 25 bucks for it without hesitation.

One of the best horror films fom Canada. I'll take this one over the remake any day of the week!

It's kind of amazing how low prices have stayed on this. I remember not ever seeing it around, then I finally found a Canadian copy at Meijers (exact same except "Maple" logos in place of "lionsgate"). Now a copy sits in the used store downtown for $10 and has been there for months. I think many don't even know it is OOP, which keeps the prices down. It went OOP around when LG's Monster Squad did, only MS spiked in value while Valentine stayed behind.

The movie wasn't all that great. I'm satisfied with my DVD. I liked the remake much better.

The remake was terrible IMO. Poorly acted and just plain stupid. The original is a classic!

I love the remake also, but feel the unedited original is among the most viscous slashers of all time. Such a meaner movie with the extra gore and full kills. Plus I kinda relate to and care about the characters since they aren't all stupid teens who need to die anyway. A true masterpiece IMO.
