Default Problems with Samsung Blu-Ray home theatre BD1250

Everytime I connect the Blu-ray player to the television using HDMI or component cables the fuse for a section of the house goes off. However I have noticed that if I do not connect the Blu ray to the television nothing happens, the blu ray, television, cable box remain on and the fuse is intact.

I have checked the HDMI connections on my television connecting it to my laptop.

Any suggestions would help.

Thanks,
-Imran

You need a better fuse in your breaker box. When my house was built, it had a lot of those GFI breakers for the master bedroom and my theater, but they kept tripping because they weren't made to handle the volts/amps that our HT stuff requires. We changed the breakers to regular ones (suitable for washers & dryers, etc...) and haven't had any problems.
