Default Linking Samsung Blu-ray player to home theatre

I purchased a Samsung LCD TV, a HT-TZ522 Blu-ray 5.1 home theatre, and WIS09 wireless USB adapter several months ago after having been assured that with the combination I would be able to stream Netflix. After being out of the country for a while, I finally got time to set the whole thing up only to discover that I had been misled. It seems I either need a Netflix-ready home theatre or Blu-ray player. I have wireless network connectivity to the TV, but no Netflix.

I am now trying to figure out the best way to recover. I am willing to buy another component (I'm thinking about the Samsung BD-P1600), but I'm not sure whether / how I will be able to share the home theater's speakers. Could it be as simple as running the HDMI output from the Blu-ray player to the home theatre HDMI input? In general I'd like to keep to Samsung components from a compatibility standpoint, but I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance for any help / guidance.
