Do blu-ray software players bitstream over HDMI?

mustang7071 Junior Member Member since:Feb 2008	Do blu-ray software players bitstream over HDMI? Do the leading players PowerDVD/WinDVD etc bitstream the lossless codecs over HDMI? I.e., do they have a "bitstream setting" like standalone players? Chipsets which I have access to are: 1. AMD 785 (I know doesn't do 7.1 LPCM - bitstream any chance?) 2. AMD 4670 (7.1 LPCM - ok) 3. Intel 4500MHD notebook All three have HDMI ports. I think Xonar boasts bitstream; but anything intrinsically stopping the other chipsets from bitstreaming TrueHD and DTS-MA-HD?
