yeap, getting it done early,

Got:

Girlfriend an engagement ring, and a bunch of her favorite lotions, going to put all the lotions in a bag and in a bag a stuffed christmas pollar bear who will be wearing the ring on one of its paws laying hidden at the bottom of the bag

next gifts are mom and dad

Getting dad a blu ray player and mom a bottle of her favorite perfume

and will probably get brother a gift card, cause by the time I get to him, I will be flat broke lol

I bought a CD and a shirt for my brother yesterday.. Had to start now cause I have no money until chrsitmas and it'll be easier if I spread it out

I start shopping the week before Christmas

This year I'm only buying gifts for my intermediate family since my whole damn family is HUGE!!!

Make the proposal the most important part. I semi blew mine.

I got it half right because I proposed in Maui.

Original plan:
Propose at the top of Haleakala during the sunrise with some really thought out important speech.

What actually happened:
I was so excited after we checked into the hotel that I proposed when we got into the room.

She kind of just freaked out. It was funny. It was funnier too because before that I had asked her parents for permission and her whole family knew!! She was actually getting pissed off before we left for Maui because she kept complaining that we are going on this big trip and I hadn't committed to her yet.

So good luck! Make it really magical for her. Then get ready for a crazy time while planning the wedding.

It's usually two weeks for me. Thank God for Amazon. I can usually wake up around 8 am on Saturday and be done by noon. Bought. Wrapped. Shipped. Done.
