Default Anybody with a Sony BDP-350?

Can someone tell me which options to choose for the best possible picture? When I say options, I mean when going to the blu-ray menu. Thank you!

Yes, select:

Tv type 16:9
Screen format: original
DVD aspect: letterbox
Cinema conversion: auto
Video output: HDMI + 1080P (assuming your set supports HDMI and 1080p)
BD-ROM 1080/24p: On (assuming your set supports 24p)
YCbCr: 4:4:4
xvColor: Off

Thank you.

One more quick question. When it asks about video output, should I put Auto or 1080p. It says HDMI will work for both Auto and 1080p. Which would be better?

You're going to want to change that to "Fixed Aspect Ratio" if you want your 4:3 DVDs to be properly pillarboxed on your 16:9 display. "Original" will cause them to be stretched out horizontally to fill the width of the screen.

I believe I have my S550 (same thing for the most part) set to auto, but my display was only 1080i. If you have a 1080p display, then send 1080p. Or better yet, experiment and choose which looks best to you.
