I know a lot of people didn't like this movie but I think it's great. Another phenomenal transfer by Sony as well, I may even put the digital copy on my PSP and watch it again tomorrow.

3.5/5 for the story, 4.5/5 for PQ and AQ.

the movie was hilarious!! i've never been in a theater where the everyone was laughing so hard!!

will probably watch this w/the wife 2nite.

I will admit I generally don't go for comedies like this but this one really made me laugh. Granted it's crude and tries too hard in parts but as a whole it works. You're not always going to get Serendipity or When Harry met Sally when you make these movies and that's the way it goes.

I haven't seen this yet, but it's been a movie I've wanted to see since it came out in the theater. I have it coming from Netflix. If I like it well enough, then I'll probably pick it up over the holidays when it goes down in price.

I don't much care for anything gerard butler is usually in (post 300) But katherine heigl does it for me. I LOVED her in 27 dresses, I thought she was phenomenal in that movie. Is this movie just as good as that one?

I actually thought it was a touch better than 27 Dresses but that's just me. 27 Dresses was a bit TOO girly, this one was more comedy than romance.

The film was OK and I liked the fact that it was a "raunchy" romantic comedy. But come on...Katherine Heigl as Abby not able to find men. She didn't look exactly plain Jane either.

But I agree, solid PQ and AQ...but aren't you glad they didn't use any of those alternate endings...hehe.

Yeah, it's pretty raunchy, but when something really makes you laugh, you're having a good time whether you care to admit you enjoyed the movie or not.

I don't like Heigl much, but I'm liking Butler more and more every day. Either way the movie still worked, certainly worth a rental, at the very least.

Finally watched this tonight from Netflix and loved it. I'll be adding it to my collection soon. I would say on Black Friday, but that's not looking good.

The thing with that though is just because she was so caught up in work and looking for what SHE wanted, no less than that. That's why she couldn't find men.

I love the movie, it's hilarious. Seemed like not a lot of people liked it but I couldn't wait for it to come out on Blu-ray. Though I still haven't watched it. I was kind of worried in the beginning that it wouldn't be funny, until maybe 20-30 minutes into the movie.

do you watch grey's anatomy? cause normally people who watch that tend to like her.

tv actors are put in mainstream films since they already have a huge tv fan base which attracts them to the movie. thats the reason studios try to come up with vehicles like the ugly truth for them.

actress and even though they won't hire meryl streep for a movie like
the ugly truth, i feel that even such a basic romcom shows the acting
limits of katherine heigl instantly.
