Henry Fonda in Young Lincoln
Josh Brolin in W

but my top one has to be Harrison Ford in Air Force One

I entered this thread thinking I was going to get laughed at but my pick is also Michael Douglas in The American President. There was something very human in his portrayal.

Also, for pure entertainment value, I thought it was really cool to see Morgan Freeman in Deep Impact. It might not seem like much today but back then, when I watched the scene were he is seen for the first time I found it really refreshing.

And for (a very close) third, no president kicks butt like Harrison Ford.

Anthony Hopkins as John Quincy Adams in "Amistad"

I liked John Travolta in the movie where he was Clinton, or Clinton-esque. I can't remember the name of it.

For a President that's American, I'd say Tim Robbins in The Hudsucker Proxy.
