Default Which one is better IYO

In new to the sub game, i currently have a Polk Audio sub but my Quintets out play it, and it can handle movies with allot of LFE so im looking for a new top notch sub that will match right with my Reference series Klipsch speakers.

I own both SVS and eD and you can't go wrong with either, IMO. What is you budget and room size?

You cannot go wrong with either SVS, eD or Hsu subs. They all are in the same class. The acoustic audio sub is not in the same league. So scratch that one off your list.

With a budget of $400 I would recommend an eD A2-300. $415 shipped right to your door. You can't touch an SVS for $400.

yep, the consensus will be get the eD A2-300, given your budget. The A3-250 is no slouch either, that one costs $400.

What about a sub like the BIC Acoustech PL-200? No one ever gives BIC subs any credit. As far as the A2-300 goes, there have been a fair share of amp issues as of late and there is a rediculous long wait for that particular sub. AD's customer service is very good though so if you should have an amp failure you'll be taken care of.

There is no comparison between the two. The eD will spank that sub all the way. Polk subs are not that good but there speakers are. You will always be better off buying a sub from a company that develops and builds them versus one that doesn't.

http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=295-460

You can get A plate amp there too .

My DIY PSW110 , Old driver is out .

It would be fine to use if you ever wanted to put together a small betroom setup too.
