Thanks. It's been at those prices for a few weeks now. I have Band of Brothers, but otherwise a good deal. Only thing to watch out for is since I believe this set is in a tin case (like the US version) then there could be damage during shipping.

For the Matrix trilogy, I'm hoping the Ultimate (U.S.) edition goes down in price as it contains a lot more extras and the Animatrix.

Ive already taken advantage of the Band of Brothers and Godfather trilogy from AmazonUK. Not bad for about $30 USD, shipped. Gotta get the Matrix trilogy next.

I watch Amazon UK boxset prices alot...I really wish the mods would quit moving these threads from hotdeals to Region B forum...it makes Amazon UK the best kept secret on this site

I have to agree as a long-time forum member. Great deals that are fully applicable and available to U.S. customers should remain in the regular Hot Deals section. All it does is "hide" the deal in an obscure portion of the site that has little visibility.

Wasn't aware that Amazon.uk is considered Region B ONLY.

Everything I buy from them is clearly Region-Free.

I agree moving this to a sub-forum tends to hide the sales info.

I ordered the Batman boxset from them ($40 shipped), and I don't regret it (it will be $46.99 at BB next week). Yes, it has different packaging, but it's brand new and the discs are the same.

I wish I had realized that most boxsets are region free, specially when Spider-Man went down to 17 pounds, which I'm wishing it goes down again.

Still, before buying from them, research region codes, and ask, just to be on the safe side.

EDIT: I just realized the Godfather trilogy is down to 18 pounds, great price..,

I guess you just realized theres more to blu-ray.com than region A

I believe its broken up like this for organization and continuity. Not everything is region free so be careful as you will get burned if you are getting that misconception. Usually WB, Universal and Paramount are Free. Most Sony is and FOX is commonly locked however Omen isnt

I was bummed when I found out Rocky & Rocky Balboa are Region Locked, but Rocky 2 - 5 are Region Free:

In the last couple of weeks I've got the Kill Bill double pack and the National Treasure double pack for 16.71 GBP each delivered. Got the Bourne Trilogy for 19.31 GBP. Also got the M. Night Shyamalan triple pack for around 20 GBP. Picked up Band of Brothers a while back but it was only slightly more expensive than it is now. Amazon UK have had some great box set prices lately, and considering the exchange rate they are so cheap. One of our local retailers (Target) had the Bourne Trilogy on sale for $65 AUS. I had to laugh, as that "sale" price (which is actually cheap here in Australia) is exactly twice as much as the order I'm waiting on from Amazon!
