The pawn business, is one of the lowest forms of moneymaking there is IMO. You take someone down on their luck and try to get the lowest dollar amount out of their possessions that they are willing to deal with, even though it is worth twice the value.

Yuck....

I have seen the show, but don't endorse the practices.

I seen this show a few times here and there, I liked it until caught on to the angle Rick plays, which is to call one of his "friends" to tell the people that what their pawning/selling isn't worth as much, when most of the time it pretty much is. But hey, it's Vegas, every "legitimate" businessman has friends with a finger in every pie in town.

Anyone remember the guy trying to sell John Hancock's check? I'm really happy that guy got the hell outta that pawnshop, Rick was trying to rip him off BIG TIME!

I have no idea why this is on History. I hate how my beloved Discovery and History channels are being overrun by reality shows.

This show is like American Chopper in a pawn shop. There is a Senior, Junior, and the dimwit Chumly can be "Mikey"

I still love watching all the cool stuff that comes in to the store.

Thumbs down

In general, I hate T.V., especially "reality shows"

In some form or another, they're all scripted and overly ridiculous.

History Channel should be very embarrassed televising this program.
