If you want to keep it polk, I'd recommend the TSi200's,

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...097&Tpk=tsi200
piano black, with a nice high glossy black top. they sound great, i own a pair and i'd highly recommend them. If they are too big, then, go with their little brother the TSi100's,

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-095-_-Product
same color and style just a little smaller. I'd also recommend these mounts if your gonna wall mount them

http://www.bracketsandstands.com/AM4...ETS_p/am40.htm

i own both the TSi 200's & 100's and four of the above listed brackets to mount them, they are rock solid and have a shiny black matching body that compliments the speakers.

You can get almost any good black Polk (or other brand) sub to match.

best of luck, keep us posted!

I would listen to speakers that are available in gloss-black, and base your decision on what sounds best to you..... (and you can take looks into account too if you wish)

Since it's not your main setup, the best idea (in my opinion) would be to get in-wall speakers.

no, it's not stupid, it's what you want and need. the biggest reason i wouldn't use in-wall speakers is, imo, it means the furniture configuration of the room is forever, because you can't move the speakers! not without big holes in the wall!

don't get me wrong, i have heard some really nice sounding inwall speakers, but i wondered the same thing about if you decide you want the couch on the west wall instead of the south wall, what do you do about the speakers?

keep at it, you'll find whats right for you!

i guess it would be helpfull, so folks aren't wasting time giving suggestions that cost too much (but they don't know it) what is your budget for these speakers?

actually, since he had Polk LSi's and a rotel amp and a higher end denon, I thought he would want a good thin speaker for wall mounting.

But a budget would be helpful.

These could work well too. Probably get them closer to 500/pr on amazon

Cool, let us know if you get them and what you think. Energys are smooth, good mid-range and accurate highs. Lows are decent, but you will want to add that sub.

Nice setup too. I like the LSi look. Seen them once, but never got to hear them... Have to go back, I would love to get a listen to them.
