Does anybody's Blu Ray player make a ticking noise while playing movies? - Blu-ray Forum

While watching No Country For Old Men on Blu Ray not to long ago I noticed a ticking noise. Searching around my room for the noise I put my ear near the my Blu Ray player and noticed it was coming from there. The same thing happened tonight while I was watching Halloween II. Has this occurance happenned to anyone else? Any advice?

What brand/model player do you have?

I've never heard of the issue, but perhaps a mod can move this into the Blu-ray players forum for better response.

Lately my BDP-S350's fan seems to be making a bit of noise during payback. Its not loud or annoying, & at this point I'm not that concerned.

No need, it was my own stupidity that caused the noise to happen. With my previous DVD player I had rested my 26'' Bravia on top of it. I thought I could do the same with my Blu Ray player, little did I realize tha it was ruining my DVD player causing the ticking noise during play back.Luckily I had a year warrenty at The Bay and got a new one. The ticking noises have seized. Only the regular fan noises. Thanks for the help anyways.
