Default Is Mulholland Dr. available in any region?

I know it's not out in the US but I think I read something recently saying that there have been European releases. I did a search on the web but couldn't find anything. Anyone know?

I have a German HD copy of this, that plays just fine in my HD player, but don't think it came out in Blu-ray

Available in Norway and Sweden, region B locked. Don't bother buying it though... Not a very good release.

Wait for the French release (and hope it's a better transfer).

I have the French HD DVD, which is actually a downgrade from the R1 DVD. I wonder if the BD will be any better.

Doubtful. I'd wager that the Studio Canal release will be a port of the HD DVD.

I'm hoping that the recent critics polls which voted it No. 1 of the past decade will help us see a decent Region A release.

Consensus? Mulholland Dr. is LA Film Critics' movie of the decade, too - scanners

How is it a downgrade of the R1 DVD? Is the PQ worse?

I have the UK HD DVD, which I assume is the same transfer.

The HD DVD has an audio pitch problem, and the video has small vertical lines. I've seen this movie enough times that the audio pitch issue was noticeable for me; if I were showing it to someone who had never seen it before, I'd probably pull out the DVD.

And the vertical lines is what's the problem with the Norwegian/Swedish Blu-ray release as well... So my guess is that Pan Vision used the same source as the one used for the HD-DVD.

So let's hope Studio Canal finds something better than this!

Default I just saw nordic release of mulholland drive!! GOOD!

I just watched nordic release (Finnish covers). PQ is much better than any dvd of this title of course. There´s not bigger issues on this blu-ray. Picture is good but not best possible and dts-ma 5.1 soundtrack is actually very good (but, Bitrates of picture ((mostly under20)) and sound ((around 2)) are not highest possible).
Anyway, Mulholland Drive blu-ray is great upgrade after standard dvd. As a Lynch fan, I´m happy that I purchased this blu-ray copy and now I can sell my old dvd versions, that I´m not gonna miss at all.
On blu-ray both picture and sound is anyway lot better than on any dvd.
I saw no any disturbing vertical lines on picture that some people were afraid of. Some other smaller disturbances I found, but not any major issues (and i´m quite strict about issues!).
I recommend Mulholland Drive blu-ray. To me it cost 13 euros witch is not too much for this upgrade. I don´t recommend to pay much over 20 euros (unless you just want to support David Lynch). This is not perfect blu-ray release (mostly because of quite low bitrate of PQ), but much better than any dvd around. The movie itself is great of course!!!
I wish there were also english subtitles... but there´s only nordic.
