Best prices for BD-R media in Canada? - Blu-ray Forum

I need inexpensive "brand name" BD-R media to transfer HD home movies onto. I normally buy 10,15,20 or 25 packs. Can anyone point me in the direction of reasonably priced media in Canada? I want to keep the cost per disc at $3.00 or less if possible. Thanks in advance.

very unlikely youll find bank bd media @ $3 per disc now. best i saw was at boxing day a pack of 15-25 maxell discs were going for somewhere around $60 bucks.

Did you try Blankmedia.ca? They usually have good prices on most media. The best bet for BD-R media though is likely on ebay from Japanese sellers.

but then you have to pay the shipping and it prob cancels out any savings you might have.

I think you should go for online shopping sites such as Amazon to get 'best price' BD-R collection.

Actually not in this case at least for orders of 10 or more discs. The prices are that much lower there. For 10 quality Sony BD-R 25GB you would pay about $43 Cdn total (including shipping) and usually you don't have to pay taxes or any other fees. For quality Verbatim BD-R 50GB it is about $74 Cdn total. I have bought from there myself.
