Hey guys,

Don't you know anything about the sales of the stellar BD treatment that 'Big Trouble in Little China' got last year? Any figures?

I don't know how many units sold or anything, but the blu-ray release is awesome, a definate improvement over the old DVD!

Kinda dissapointed that the rumoured extended cut WAS NOT included as well, but that was ONLY a rumor. Well worth the 12.99 I spent it!

It's one of my favorite John Carpenter films!

I have loved this movie since I first saw it on television many years ago. The Blu-ray is very nice and definitely worth a purchase.

This might be one of the only times where I can say Big Trouble in Little China is in my top 10 and not get weird looks. I gave a copy to a co-worker and she was like WTF?

Much better thatn the dvd. ENjoy repeating this one quarterly.

Yeah I love this movie too. So much so that I have the Pork Chop Express logo from the side of Jack's truck tattooed on my shoulder.

I agree...one of the best BD catalouge releases I've seen so far. Don't know how much its sold, but I'd love to know.

Has anyone noticed that during the back alley fight, one of the fighters rams another guys head into a brick wall....and it DEFLATES? I don't know the exact time it occurs, but its the only time during the brawl someone gets their head rammed into a wall. Pause it and check it out. It is HILARIOUS.

I remember watching this movie when I was a kid and I soon as I heard it was coming to blu, I couldn't wait to upgrade my DVD version.

My wife I never heard of this film before and when I was able to get her to sit down and watch she even liked it, that is hard to do because she is so picky about movies.

its definitely a "cult" movie. it has a large following but the average movie watcher doesnt consider it to be that great. it really appeals to genre fans and not really anyone else. speaking of cult john carpenter movies, when are we gonna get a They Live blu-ray? thats universal right? has potential to be awesome in high def
