Upgrading a new CD player , need OPN's

Hey I have the Marantz DV-7001 player it is SACD and an outstanding music sounding player , I only use this for music playback , It had great reviews as an audio player and SACD player thats why I got it , and yes it sounds great , BUT I always wanted the Marantz SA-8001 Player but could never find it for a good price, Well I found one new in box at a pretty desent price , Now my ? for anyone that has one , Is it a smart upgrade ? Is it worth the money and will I even notice the difference in the two for Music playback , I listen to rock - Hard rock and Pop rock mostly , Can any one justify the purchase for me ? And help would be greatful , comments and so forth . thanks in advance sandman....Or also would I be better off using the money else where as in upgrading my Amplifiers, I also have a deal from a guy at work selling five (5) Marnatz Mono block amps , I had these years ago and they are pretty amazing little monsters, 125 watts pure power, and have a great resale value too.. I can get all five of them and he'll throw in a Marantz Av-550 Prosser to boot. which I'd sell any ways... so which its better, New CD Player Or new Amps.... ?????
