The Watchmen trailer on Blu??

Can anyone tell me if there are any blu-rays that have the Watchmen trailer them? I own the Director's Cut, The Motion Comic, and Tales of the Black Freighter/Under The Hood and none of them have the theatrical trailer for the film. Either of the trailers will work, but preferably I'd like the one which features the Muse song "Take A Bow".

Yes, I am aware that you can find these online, but I'm trying to locate it on Blu-ray.

Studios are dropping trailers left and right because they actually end up costing a lot after getting them ready for Blu-ray and licensing the music. That is why most discs have the same limited handful of movie trailers from each studio, often dropping the actual trailer for the movie on the BD.

You could download the quicktime HD files and make an AVCHD disc out of them to play them on a Blu-ray player in HD if you wanted... You'd just need to burn them to either a DVD-R/RW or a BD-R, or even use a USB drive if you have a Pansonic player or PS3.

Check iTunes. There should be HD trailers on there in .mov.

That is pretty awful. I really like watching trailers after watching the movie. Watchmen trailers are awesome, all of them; sometimes I go online just to watch them.

I am 100% sure there is a WATCHMEN trailer that opens the Blu-ray for 300: THE COMPLETE EXPERIENCE and 98% sure there is one featured on the BD for THE DARK KNIGHT, as well.

Then my mistake; it's definitely on the DVD of TDK.

Its interesting with the trailers not being included since some of them wind up being better than the actual movie. I do think its a licensing issue though when that happens.

I remember the teaser for 8 Mile had Eminem's "Cleaning Out My Closer", but its not on the DVD.

There was a trailer for The Fast & The Furious using Limp Bizkit's "My Way", but that's not on the DVD yet in the movie in one scene they're playing "Rollin' "

I just checked my copy of 300: The Complete Experience. It's on there (the 2nd trailer with the Muse song), but it's only in SD.

Trailers really have become an art form in the past few years it seems. I look at the trailers for X-Men and The Matrix and think 'Why did I ever want to see those movies?'

X-Men the Last Stands trailer was great with the filler music made for previews, the Superman Returns teaser trailer with Marlon Brando archive voice over and John William's Krypton music was great

I meant for the first X-Men movie. It was a bunch of flashy scenes with loud techno music and a line here or there. Last stand and Superman Returns did have good trailers.

yeah it really sucks. Always like watching the trailer before watching the movie gets me more excited for the movie itself. This new policy is crap

Its NOT a licensing issue at all (for music or whatever), its just that the previews are still considered marketing tools, & are used as cross-promotion by placing them on discs for other films. Sony is the biggest beast for this, but other studios still do it to a large degree. I'm not certain why they don't include it on discs for the films they're promoting though, its just odd.
