In addition to the speakers that you may be able to find at your local A/V stores, check into the following options. They are good speakers at reasonable prices.

EMP TEK:

You can also look at these they are pretty good speakers at really good price also, you can look at the contact information for Omage USA, this is a canadian base company.

They make a whole bunch of different speakers in the same price range that gives you flexiility on what you like most in looks and sound.

Take a look at your local classified sites and keep your eyes peeled for things like vintage JBL's, Polks and Yamahas etc. You can find older stuff at discount that will give any newer cheap crap a serious run for its money.

Killer you are so right, that's how I got my hands on an Energy setup but floor models at a store for a ridiculous price.

Keep your eyes open and good things happen I got my front sound stage for 300$ and reatailed at over 1K$

you can look at vanns.com, the Jamo speakers that are the C401s $79/pr and the C400 Cen $79 ea., they are not towers, but for the price they will be as good or better then most towers that you will find. Get yourself a decent sub like the Premier Acoustic PA-120 $230

for less then $400 you have a rocking system, this system will be warm sounding.

JBL, Polk and Yamaha are all a little bright sounding. I don't know anything about the speakers that Big Daddy recommended, but he usually has a very good grasp of speakers all around, so check out those speakers too.

You might want to talk to talstarone. He is selling his Polk CS10 right now for a great price. He would be able to describe to you what it sounded like and if its what you are looking for.

I have know Polk is not a warm spekaer their are bright and depending of the line their could be neutral without being warm.

JAMO that was one of my first choices (Jamo C605 towers and Jamo C60 center) each tower costUS$ 300.00 and center is selling for US$ 180.00 Grand total will be us$ 780.00 is a lot money to me

Callas thanks for the suggestion but i really want nice looking towers , regarding about mi subwoofer im so happy with my BIC AMERICA F-12

Thanks John ,but in intrigued with what jwilly says:

"These speakers would make an excellent "FIRST" set-up for someone new to the HT game"

...so, this Jamo set is for beginners?

Without bursting anyone's bubble, $400 for a 5 speaker set-up is an entry-level setup. However, Jamo has a very good reputation and I have no doubt they would suffice quite adequately.

Send Justin a PM...he's a good guy and I'm sure you could work something out.

I would also suggest that you look at the Jamo speakers on http://www.wwstereo.com, I believer they have the E7Cen and the E 680 towers on sale, your total could be about $380??

well, you can look at ebay for someone selling Energy C-300s or C-500s and a C-C100 or C-C50, there should be some in black.

However I feel that a dark wood color can work fine with black, it gives a nice accent. JMO.
