hi there.im planning to buy a blu ray player,but im havin second thoughts.is it worth waiting for the ps3?

Absolutely. 1080P playback, capability of playing games in addition to watching HD movies, and kick-a-- hardware to boot. It is absolutely worth the wait in my opinion. I'm just looking forward to the PS3 kicking Microsoft & Company right in the mommy-daddy button with its release.

Moreover, I don't know if there will be any other Blu-ray standalone players that will be able to beat the expected PS3 price of $399-$499, even in November.
