do you think that is cutting it close? i mean its still in the theater. but i hope youre right, i loved this movie! and i persoanlly thought it was better than knocked up by only a hair. i wish uni would go neutral so we get knocked up too

Universal is a more dumpy studio... so guys like Seth Rogan flee to a better studio after their contract expires.

He now has access to better talent agencies, a higher share of royalties, and doesn't have to shamefully tell people he works for Universal.

It's a four month window...nothing too out of this world. It's a good idea to get it out there for the holiday season.

Stop torturing yourself over Universal releases, they haven't released any films on Blu ray to date so why would you expect a change for a movie you like???????????????

There won't be an import version, it's solely owned by Universal.

And you guys can look up if there's going to be a port... just google the movie... go to the movie's wikipedia page... and see who it's distributed by. If there's only one studio listed, there will be no port. But if there are two studios listed... and they list the countries they're being release in, then there might be a port if one of them is BR exclusive. For example, check out Bruce Almighty's wikipedia page and look at the right side-bar where it says distributed by:

Have an HD-DVD player and won't even buy it for HD-DVD. Knocked up was crap in my opinion. I was expecting something of 40 year old virgin calibre, but that movie didn't arrive until Superbad, which I thought was hilarious.
