The 3 movies that George Lucas claims don't exist any more on film, but only on a 1993 Laserdisc master video.

Yeah I just read the rant about that on Digital Bits this morning. If that site is correct then it's truly unbelievable that the originals are getting such crummy treatment.

Well...

Pulp fiction = miramax = Buena Vista pictures = Disney = 100% blu-ray supporter (not Hd-dvd)

So by that ratio we can carefully assume that

Pulp Fiction = Blu-ray

I'll bet top dollar it will happen.

I got all misty-eyed when I saw pictures of the blu-ray Batman Begins case, but what we really need is 2001: A Space Odyssey and Lawrence of Arabia.

All of the classic Jackie Chan movies.
Drunken Master 2 a.k.a legend of Drunken Master (Jackie Chan).
The Myth (Jackie Chan).
Blood in, Blood out.
All the Bruce Lee movies.

I'd definitely be interested in some classic Jackie Chan in HD. And I'll second the Bruce Lee movies as well. I'm fairly certain Warner will release Enter The Dragon at some point but I'm not nearly as confident about the others.

Default Best Movie of All Time?

I'm guessing I'll have to wait a LONG time for what I consider the best movie of all time:

Gone With The Wind

I heard that the original, untampered episodes 4-6 will be released on dvd, but I heard that from a guy who's never even seen the movies and got it from some relative of his, so it's probably just a rumor. Nonetheless, a very nice rumor.

Yes, the untampered 4-6 will be on DVD, but they will be non-anamorphic and in 2.0 sound, from the rumors swirling around.

Having seen the extended editions of Fellowship and Two Towers at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, I doubt even 1080p could match it.
