Will this be region free when it's released on October 9th?

hi can any one tell me if robocop is region free as it is not out until 31 dec in ireland

Since MGM is being distro'd by Fox now, I would assume they are using region coding. Sorry.

I thought they aren't allowed to region code catalogue titles? Or anything older than 12 months old? Or something like that?

That's the guidelines for Sony Pictures only IIRC, not an official BDA stance.
