Robocop - Blu-ray Forum

Ok so I wanna buy this movie but im worried about the PQ/SQ. I noticed it is being releases on a BD-25. Now im usually pretty confident about what to expect from studios but i havent bought anything from MGM yet. How do their transfers usually end up and how good can this be on a BD-25?

they end up pretty much the same as Fox lol. You never get anything spectacular, but they always look a hundred times better than they ever looked anyways. I'm defenately getting it.!

the audio for robocop is pretty good because it has that HD master audio even though with my tv it will probably only come out as Linear PCM and yeah i do agree not much difference from fox including the PQ so i am willing to bet that Robocop will look freaking sweet

what robocop was it wherer they made that monsterosity of a maching that used a Windows style GUI and had that scene, where as a demostration,some exec pointed a gun at the giant robot, I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't scene it...

that was a cool robocop...

Yupp, thats Robocop 1...that scene in the unrated/director's cut version is....messy...

Looking forward to this release. Have the Criterion but a HD version would be sweet.

Robocop hasnever looked that great on dvd, so the blu will defo be way better.

They showed Robocop last week here in the UK on SKY TV, the picture quality was amazing and it was fully uncut.

I wonder if they had it on Blu-Ray..? well the network is owned by FOX.
