I've noticed this, it happens a bit to me, I have a PS3, I use a HDMI cable to connect my PS3 to my HDTV (26" Citizen 1080i) most of the time this is not an issue, but for some reason I've noticed, that if it's going to do this, it usually does it when it loads Folding@home, I've found a way to get around it I have to turn off my TV for a second then turn it back on and problem solved, (not sure if turning off the TV actually resolves it or it's coincidence but that's workd 100% of the time so far)
anyone have an idea as to what's happening, and or how I can permanently stop this from happening? |

Sounds like your TV might have lost contact with the HDMI settings, I've heard it happen to some HDMI switchers.
Instead of turning off your TV the next time, try to just switch to a different input then switch back to HDMI and see if it comes back. |
