Default Transformers lacking LFE in some HD copies

AVS members are reporting that Transformers is lacking bass in HD. SD version seems fine though.http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=925725

Who cares?

This is blu-ray.com, and this thread does not belong. I want to talk about BD not HDDUD.

Pretty much agreed but the HD DUD-ers are so rude to anyone pro Blu Ray that it gets fun to see them suffer. Sick perhaps, oh well.

well tranformers for me was disappointing in both PQ and AQ. definatly not a 5/5 release. PQ lacks clarity compared to other top AVC releases (bitrate you say?) and the sonics were flat and very dissapointing. mind you i did watch spidey 3 and rise of the silver surfer first.

Maybe they should of added PCM uncompressed audio.

No reason to get upset guys I posted this becuase I found it interesting that after all the money paid to keep this movie from BD you'd think they'd make sure it had pristine sound and not mess up somthing as important in a movie like this as the LFE.

Is it really missing the LFE? How the hell did Peter Bracke give it 5/5 for audio then?
edit--
ahh ok, looks like a few discs are having problems, not all of them

Any packaging notation to let you know you have the biffed version?

I have the HDDVD and the DVD and I can tell you right now the HDDVD looks and sounds better than the DVD.

But for a DVD it's probably up there with the Best movies as far as PQ/AQ
It's damn good! (for a DDD) If you need a transformers FIX, it'll get ya the 18 months.

After 12 posts do you think you own this place? People can talk about what they want, if you don't want to be involved, don't.

Now go say something nice to someone.

Look at the inner ring where the label on the disk meets the clear circle. Its hard to see but in the right light if yours says PEMC-D2R1 you have the deective disk. The good disk says PEMC-D2R2. I sent my defective disk in last year and received a new one in about 3 wks.

Here's the info on the Jurassic Park defective DTS DVD replacement. No receipt required:

Please send the disc only to the address below with a note including your name, mailing address, a daytime phone number and description of the problem you are experiencing.
