I just picked up a blu ray player bundled with a $100 BB gift card and the 5 free movies. I love it!! Finally something that looks amazing on my TV.

Hitch
Punisher
XXX
Resident evil: apocalypse

and I purchase today on amazon: Cars and Planet Earth I read those are amazing in blu-ray

Congrats on the S300!

Make sure you download and update the firmware right away!
3.30.

Before I did the update the load screen cycled as much as 17 times!
for DAY AFTER TOMORROW. After the update they load faster.

lol ask my wallet she hates blu-ray I got 4 other movies today 300, Spiderman 3, Final Fantasy and my wife got Memoirs of a Geisha

I also subscribe to blockbuster online

the only bad thing is that now my DVD collection is obsolete

Hardly obsolete given most of them probably aren't available on blu-ray yet and with upscaling they'll look somewhat better than they used to.
