How's it going? Just bought myself a Blu-Ray as a Christmas present to myself. I bought the Samsung BD-P1400. I havn't gotten a chance to hook it up yet, cuz I ran out of room on the power strip for entertainment center. Gotta pick up a new one tonight. Anybody have this model? what do you all think of it?

Edit Found the Review for it here.

I want to hear more stories like this. Several every single day would be rather nice. It warms to cockles of my heart knowing that so many people are beginning to feel the love that Blu-ray has to offer.

Eww, you said Bose. Check out the Home Theater forum we have here. The majority here use Onkyo stuffs. Go, check it out!

LOL, I'm not too into bose. I havn't heard a lot of good things with them. I'm leaning towards something not too crazy, but better than bose. I'm thinking about buying a Denon 3808CI A/V reciever, and Aperion Speakers. Not a bad way to spend $3k. I think they should sound pretty damn good with my Blu.

I (thankfully) am not an audiophile. I know Onkyo and Denon are good systems. Beyond what's good and what's not -you got me. I don't even know the names of any speaker manufacturers.

Bose is only good for music. We have a phrase we toss around in the movie theatre industry...

"It has no highs and has no lows. Look at the label, must be Bose."

I am a HUGE fan of Klipsch. That is what we use at my theatre.
