While they're at it, can Target just re-release THG exclusive and make it G1? It's a noticeable eyesore on my shelf sitting next to the last two G1 releases.

Buy the DVD exclusive for part 1 and swap out the discs. That's what I would do. I can live with the mis-matched cases.

It's still early but even if the States don't get a 3D release, I can see the UK getting one since they have it in theaters with 3D as an option.

Overall I find these films super disappointing, but as a sci-fi nut I feel obligated to get the 4-pack in some future closeout sale.
