Default so why is bd.com considered the devil?

it seems like everywhere that desperate hd dvd supporters congregate to cry on each others shoulders or reinforce their misguided beliefs they cry how unfair blu-ray.com is. its almost comical, if it wasn't so sad. even at the online polls now. "wah wah wah there's to many blu supporters, its not fair." we seem to be a lightning rod for all the idiots the internet has to offer.

so are we the devil?

they are trying to discredit blu-ray.com, so when a noob comes to HDM, he doesn't believe what he hears and sees on this website, because it they see what blu-ray.com has to offer as far as knowledge and facts go there is no way in hell they will choose hd dvd. they know are insiders are never wrong and that right now they are implying some lethal things about hd dvd and that scares the sh1t out of them.

HD-DVD red heads are a bunch of dumb-a**es. I bet anything once that format finally disappears that all the haters out there will all come running to Blu.

yeah i can just imagine them playing over and over their measly collection, sitting in their basement in the dark with a tear coming down their collective faces across the country. sad really...

they have nothing left in their arsenal but to call names... blu always wins whatever conceivable poll they come up with. they just can't accept the fact that there are more blu supporters out there than HD-DVD.

OK, I can't respond without responding, that was just, well, devilish of me. (sorry, couldn't help the pun!)

The reality of it all is that they're starting to see the demise of their format, and are beginning to make excuses as to why theirs is going the way of the Dodo.

The truth of the matter is that Blu-ray has more fans because it is the better product of the two. HD DVD is a vast improvement over DVD, but as one poster likes to put in their signature: "why settle for second best?". Something more was desired by audio and videophiles, and HD DVD was the first out of the chute with a viable, proven format that seemed to provide everything they could possibly want. Then came this "upstart" Blu-ray.

Blu-ray made all these "fantastic" claims how it was better, that even though the format wasn't quite complete, just wait, one day we'll blow you away. And at first they were laughed at. Sure, they claimed they were going to have 50g discs, but that was all talk, and in reality, they just had 25g. Besides, 30g was more than enough, what in the world are they going to do with an extra 20g?

Well, we all know the rest of the story. The uproarous laughter turned to nervous chuckling, and now there's nothing but frustration and crying about how the BDA "stole" hi-def from the true format. This was to be expected, and to be honest, I'm not the least bit surprised.

they're only saying downloads now that the demise of DUD is a foregone conclusion... like, they'd rather have downloads than blu when DUD dies.

actually I think they'll buy blu but start saying ''well, hd dvd was superior. I guess people would rather see quality video and audio than special features. people don't know what's good for them''
