Default trouble with the ps3 displaying on a different TV. HELP

right now i have the ps3 on a different tv through component, but it is set to have it through hdmi. how do you switch it to the original setting.

While the PS3 is on, press and hold your finger on the unit power button (not through the controller) until the second time it beeps. That should allow you to reboot the system with factory video settings enabled.

I've had to do it a few times. This will work if done properly.

Do a search...

But I think one guy said...hold down power button until you hear two beeps and the setting resets...but, do a search...

After you turn on the PS3, hold the power button (the button on the system, not the controller) for 5 seconds. The PS3 will output at what is connected to it, via factory defaults.

haha, the classic "do a search" response. if you knew the answer why not just repond with that, and leave it at that. anyways, thank for the quick reponse guys.
